As a mechanic who works on a lot of bikes, I’d been thinking about buying a home repair stand for years but after using a shop stand none of the home repair stands I was familiar with seemed to measure up. I looked at the Park stands and, while the price was right, I just never wanted to spend the money for them. They just never had all the features I was looking for. Don’t get me wrong, the Park Stands are great, but I needed something a little smaller and easier to fold up so it would fit in my small apartment without making my wife too mad. The PCS-10 folded pretty easily, but it wasn’t quite stable enough for my needs.
