Velocity USA – Interbike 2012 (Video)

Friday, September 28th, 2012

If you research Velocity, it’s hard to find poor reviews. They make quality products, in an array of options, offer complete wheels and wheel components and have pretty good availability. One thing that often get’s left out and that we like to point out, is that the company makes their rims in the U.S. Their headquarters are  but a mere two hour drive from us and they moved their manufacturing to Florida earlier this year. What more could you ask for!

Salsa Cycles – Interbike 2012 (Video)

Thursday, September 27th, 2012

Two up and coming segments in cycling are the gravel scene and the travel scene. While many of us have spent our days peacefully riding on gravel roads, more and more events are starting to crop up based around that terrain. These aren’t your standard events. Most are long mile races started in mass, but once you leave the start line, you’re on your own. More often than not, they’re based on an honor system of completing the course.

Also gaining a lot of popularity is exploring the world by bike. Salsa has been supporting adventure riding for some time now but now they support those who travel and need to pack their bike up for flight. Check out the video and see!

Also make sure to check out our other post that includes photos of other bikes.

Planet Bike – Interbike 2012 (Video)

Thursday, September 27th, 2012

Often overlooked with Interbike coverage is the smaller brands who make great quality products at a even better price. Planet Bike has been doing that for years. And one reason we love working with them is because of their advocacy. Here’s short little run down from the folks at Planet Bike on some of their goods for 2013. We did a little coverage already in a previous post, which includes some photos of their new saddles.

Wednesday, September 26th, 2012

Fyxation brings solid components that meet demanding tasks at fair prices. This is highly evident to us by the volume of components we’ve seen leave the shelves. Their pedals have been very popular for us as well as their handlebars. One nice feature as you look through their line is the options. They offer six different bar styles to suit just about everyone. Here’s a few things they guys Fyxation had to say for us during Interbike.
