Seen and Heard – Frostbike 2013

Frostbike is a both a trade show and a celebration of cycling culture and community. Organized by our friends at Quality Bike Products in Minneapolis, it’s an event showcasing new and otherwise seriously cool cycling goods, along with the folks who design and bring them to you. It was a privilege to be a part of this.

Gus Hemingway, a Foundry Broadaxe and a New Trail

Recently we paid a visit to Hillsdale, Michigan to present Gus Hemingway with his brand new Foundry Cycles Broadaxe. Joining us was Foundry sales rep and Michigan native, Jeff Buerman. We were presenting Gus with his new Foundry bike as part of the Foundry Cycles Tradesman program that they launched earlier this year. After a quick photo op and some on camera initial thoughts, we sent Gus out for a quick loop on the Hemingway Trail at Hayden Park otherwise referred to as “H2″ by the local riders. (more…)

Foundry Cycles 2013 Preview @ Saddle Drive ’12

tf-img_2053 Foundry is gearing up for the coming year with several new offerings: there’s the Thresher, a gravel racer; the Riveter, a race-ready road bike; and the Harrow, Foundry’s dedicated cross bike. While each of the tools in its shed are designed to perform under unique conditions, Foundry bikes pulse with a strikingly similar blood: they are a tool that is meant to let the rider do the talking. The bikes are about top level performance cloaked in an understated aesthetic that are to be pushed to the limit. (more…)
